Dominique Desmeules

Dominique Desmeules draws her inspiration from floral subjects such as flower beds, flowerpots, or eventually a simple bunch of flowers. The artist's painting is mostly defined as semi-figurative in its approach. Acrylic is her preferred medium with the addition, from time to time, of paper collages to increase the texture of the final product. Desmeules also uses the spatula to accentuate the movement and give depth to her paintings.
