Marleen Provençal
A self-taught artist, Marleen Provençal completed studies in the arts and cinema and spent years working in theatre and contemporary dance. The detour left its mark : light, space and movement caracterize her work. Provençal approaches each piece with no preconceived notion of the final product, painting is a stage on which anything can occur.
Already her paintings are part of Loto Quebec collection's and a number of her paintings have been used as cover illustrations for several book published in Quebec.
